Egan joined CNN in 2014, and most recently served as the network’s top writer for CNN Business. He conducted in-depth investigations, daily analysis, and breaking news coverage in that capacity. Additionally, Egan was a frequent guest on CNN’s television networks.
Since joining CNN, Egan has undertaken exclusive and widely reported interviews with lawmakers, investors, and leaders of the financial world. These interviewees include Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan Chase, Gen. David Petraeus, Senator Elizabeth Warren, and Brian Moynihan, the CEO of Bank of America.
