Amanda Seyfried is a singer, songwriter, and actress from the United States. She made her acting debut at the age of 15, playing recurring parts as Joni Stafford in the ABC soap opera All My Children and Lucy Montgomery in the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. She gained notoriety for her appearances as Sarah Henrickson in the HBO drama series Big Love and Lilly Kane in the UPN mystery drama series Veronica Mars, as well as for her feature picture debut in the teen comedy Mean Girls.

Jennifer Seyfried became a well-known actress in 2006 because to her performance in the drama television series Big Love on HBO. Seyfried portrayed Sarah Henrickson, a Mormon woman who battles her family’s polygamous beliefs in the series. Following Big Love, Seyfried costarred with Meryl Streep in the romantic comedy film adaption of the 1999 musical Mamma Mia! and had a supporting role in the 2008 horror drama film Solstice. Mamma Mia! ranked 159th overall and sixth overall in terms of box office receipts in 2008.

Seyfried was cast in March 2008 as the best friend of the title character, Anita “Needy” Lesnicki, in the comedic horror movie Jennifer’s Body. Critics gave the movie mixed reviews. Based on the novel by Lise and Ceil Friedman, Seyfried acted in the romantic comedy Letters to Juliet in 2010.
