Yuri Sardarov, also known as Yuriy Sardarov, is a producer and actor who is known for his role as a regular on NBC’s Chicago Fire through the eighth season.

Plot

Brian Zvonecek was a Chicago Fire Department firefighter who spent most of his career as the driver of Truck 81 and was stationed at Firehouse 51. He was also one of Molly’s co-owners. Yuri Sardarov represented him.

Zvonecek died in the line of duty after succumbing to injuries suffered in a mattress factory fire. According to his supervisors, Zvonecek lacked motivation. This could be because he frequently felt underappreciated by his coworkers. He wanted to be the engineer of Truck 81, which pushed him to consider switching to Morningside’s Truck 67, but he chose to stay at Firehouse 51. Joe Cruz was eventually transferred to Squad 3, and Brian was promoted to Truck 81’s engineer.

Yuri Sardarov the Rookie (FBI)

 

He appeared as Ilya Sokurov (aka Trevor Gurin) in season 4 of The Rookie. He was a former CIA operative who became a terrorist following the betrayal of CIA Director Bill August, which resulted in the deaths of his wife and daughters. Yuriy Sardarov plays him.

Plot

Prior to joining The Rookie, Sokurov was recruited by the CIA to join Enervo, a CIA black program that trains foreign assets to cause disruption in their own nations. He was caught by Russian authorities in 2018 and betrayed by Enervo’s CEO, Bill August. Sokurov escaped and returned to the United States to exact vengeance on the country that had betrayed him and Bill August. He recruited Ezekiel Freemont to create bomb detonators, kidnapped the husband of a National Guard soldier, and blew up a power station in Hollywood Hills with a bomb.

Sokurov then drove around Los Angeles with explosives in moving trucks, creating an explosion that killed 17 people and injured 34 more. Sokurov was captured by FBI trainee Simone Clark and shot by a CIA operative, but he survived and was taken into custody.
