Raffi Barsoumian The Vampire Diaries
Raffi played Markos in The Vampire Diaries’ fifth season.Markos was a witch and the Travelers’ leader. He originally appears in the seventeenth episode of The Vampire Diaries’ fifth season and functioned as the major adversary from then on, succeeding Katherine Pierce as the main antagonist of Season Five after her death.
While You Were Sleeping, Rescue Me, Resident Evil, Man on Fire, Man on Fire, What Lies Beneath, and What Lies Beneath all make brief reference of Markos. He casts a spell to bring the doppelgängers together, rather than the universe, so that he might use their blood to break the curse imposed on the travelers. Tyler/Julian is chained up by Markos, and Sloan agrees to drink Tyler’s blood. Markos puts his spell to the test by having the newly created vampire Sloan drink the blood of the doppelgängers as he and the other Travelers chant the spell. At the end of the episode, the Travelers begin reciting an infliction spell, giving Markos the advantage to capture Elena.
Markos is initially seen in Promised Land with Elena, who is being drained of her blood. Markos then reveals that his followers have begun the spell, and Julian devises a plan to assassinate Markos, but Markos rapidly seizes control of the situation. The Travelers were successful in casting the spell.

Bishop had a plot to replace humanity, but Sara stopped him and cloned him. He enlisted John Constantine to find the Fountain of Imperium, but was assassinated by Mick and Kayla’s children. Gideon had a robot replace him. Bishop built AVA Corporation and developed a solution for Esperanza Cruz’s sickness, but all went wrong when an evil futuristic version of him appeared to liberate the Zagurons. Past Bishop discovers a duplicate of Gideon and retrieves his memories in 2213.
He intends to employ Gideon against the Legends and builds a Waverider with Gideon’s help. Gideon warns Bishop not to destroy the Legend’s Waverider, but Bishop sends out robots to eliminate the Legends, infuriating Gideon. Bishop eludes the Waverider.
