Niki DeMar is an American singer-songwriter, actor, and social media star who runs the channel Niki and Gabi. In addition, she runs the Niki DeMar YouTube channel, which has amassed over 2 million subscribers.

After attending DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, where Niki majored in television and cinema and Gabi in musical theater, they attended Notre Dame High School in Easton, Pennsylvania. After their junior year of college, they left.

Niki and Gabi
Twin sisters Niki DeMar and Gabi made up the American duo Niki and Gabi. After starting their YouTube account and posting vlogs and covers, they became well-known. They collaborated with Awesomeness to create a number of web programs, including their five-season, self-titled reality series. Their official debut song “First” was released in 2017. They made their acting debut in the comedy-drama film Dance Camp in 2016.
The pair’s first Streamy Award came in the fashion category in 2018. Their first extended play, Individual, was released in the same year and reached the top of two Billboard charts. Released in 2019, “Hair Tie” was their final song before going solo. While Gabi published one studio album, Paintings of Me (2022), and one extended play, Gabroadway (2020), Niki released two extended plays, Nights Alone (2021) and Ruined My Life (2023).
The contentious “Going to College Dressed as Celebrities Challenge” video that Niki and Gabi produced in 2019 with American singer Normani was condemned for feeding negative stereotypes about black women. A TikTok showcasing an Asian manicurist wearing a COVID-19 mask was uploaded by Niki in March 2020. The video drew backlash for being offensive and discriminatory. Gabi expressed regret and the video was removed. Gabi was charged with showing off her wealth in a film called “BFF Income Challenge” in September 2020.
When Gabi posted a naked video of herself when she was three years old for sale on the content subscription platform OnlyFans in December 2020, the platform came under fire for allegedly misleading fans, disseminating child porn, and baiting naïve buyers into purchasing child pornography. OnlyFans suspended her account for breaking their terms of service. At first, Gabi dismissed the event as “trolling” and insisted that her page was not a sexual one. Later on, she uploaded a video apology on her YouTube page.
