Lisa Vanderpump is an English entrepreneur, television personality, and actress. She has been a regular on Vanderpump Rules since 2013. She was an original major cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from 2010 to 2019. She co-hosted Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump in 2021. She appeared in Vanderpump Dogs later that year.

Vanderpump began ballet training when she was three years old and attended Riverston School in Lee Green, South London. At the age of nine, Vanderpump joined in the Corona Academy drama school.

Vanderpump made her acting debut at the age of 13 in the 1973 romantic comedy A Touch of Class as an uncredited extra. She played Julia Allessio, Glenda Jackson’s daughter. Vanderpump had minor roles in episodic television shows like Silk Stalkings and Baywatch Nights in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.

Vanderpump was featured in the 1980s music videos for ABC’s “Poison Arrow” and “Mantrap,” as well as Naked Eyes’ “(What) In The Name of Love.” She appeared in Lady Gaga’s 2014 music video for “G.U.Y.” Over a hundred commercials have been produced by Vanderpump for brands like Maltesers, Lilt, Britvic 55, and Hamlet cigars.

In October 2015, Vanderpump coordinated a quiet dissent walk against the Yulin Canine Meat Celebration, the walk went from MacArthur Park to the Chinese Department General in Los Angeles and began a development to end the maltreatment, torment and butcher of canines around the world. They launched the Stop Yulin Forever campaign with her husband Ken and their partner, John Sessa. Following that, Vanderpump addressed Congress regarding the same issues.

The purpose of Vanderpump’s documentary “The Road to Yulin… and Beyond,” which was released in March 2018, was to bring an end to the barbaric Yulin Dog Meat Festival.
