Drubel Career
Early on, Drubel’s musical abilities were recognized. When he was ten years old, singing religious music is when he discovered his love for singing. Drubel began vocal instruction whenever possible, forcing his parents to take him to voice lessons every day during the school lunch hour. He also began participating in choruses and summer camps around the nation. Drubel has always been clear about his intention to pursue a career in music.
Drubel realized that in order to pursue the kind of entertainment career he desired, he would eventually need to leave his little New England town where he was living. He had originally intended to pursue music at Julliard or Oberlin, but after hearing him sing, renowned vocal instructor Seth Riggs changed his mind.
Drubel was advised by Riggs, who has taught Ray Charles, Josh Groban, and Michael Jackson, among others, that he had to relocate to Los Angeles in order to continue studying with him. Drubel came to Los Angeles to study under Riggs, changed his high school course of study right away, and finished a year ahead of schedule.
In addition, Drubel was pushed by Riggs to compose additional music, something at which Drubel quickly discovered he was gifted. Drubel has written songs for chart-topping musicians, and MTV, VH1, E!, and CBS have all featured his work. As part of his entertainment endeavors, Drubel joined the cast of E!’s reality series #RichKids of Beverly Hills. Jonny has grown to love the television production process and takes pleasure in being a member of the cast. Drubel has started working with Danny Rose Media and producing his own initiatives thanks to his imaginative mindset.
