Jimmy Failla is a stand-up comedian, author, commentator, and anchor of Fox News Radio’s “Fox Across America” program. In addition, he has presented the highly regarded radio program/podcast “Off the Meter” and had appearances on Richard Hammond’s Crash Course on BBC America and AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live.
Education
He became a New York City taxi driver after attending Nassau Community College. A stand-up comedian since the early 2010s, he wrote Follow That Car!: A Cabbie’s Guide to Conquering Fears, Achieving Dreams, and Finding a Public Restroom in November 2013.

In 2013, he participated in Season 8 of America’s Got Talent, but he lost in the Vegas Round. He has written for radio and television before. At the contestant’s request, Jimmy Failla’s audition was never broadcast on television. One of the jokes was deemed racist by Mel B, who buzzed the act. Despite Mel’s “No” vote, Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum cast “Yes” votes, advancing Jimmy to the Las Vegas Round.
In the Vegas Round, Failla was placed in the “Comedian” category. In Episode 808, he made fun of his wife’s tendency to overreact to things like getting the pink shirt she wanted at a Gap store and her inability to choose good movies to watch.
