Jen Wilkin is a Dallas-based author and Bible teacher who has developed and led women’s studies in the home, church, and parachurch settings. Her goal is to see others become articulate and dedicated followers of Christ, with a clear understanding of why they believe what they believe, based on God’s Word.
She was saved in elementary school and graduated from Texas A&M with a B.A. in English and a Master of Business Administration.

Jen, a voracious reader, recalls one of the first books that impacted her religion. She was given a copy of A.W. Tozer’s The Knowledge of the Holy fifteen years ago, and she recalls it as the beginning of her journey to consider a transcendent God in Scripture. Tozer expanded her language for God’s immensity, and as a result, God became fully intriguing to her for the first time.

Jen’s Bible studies have developed a distinctive format over the course of her ministry, and the work she has done in women’s ministry has played a significant role in her success in securing that niche. As a ladies’ service chief at my last church, I saw a hole between ladies engaged with inductive Book of scriptures study and those doing effective review, yet the gatherings never truly covered,” she says. Jen wanted to create resources that combined the application of topical study with the tools of inductive study.
In addition, the author states, “I wanted to give women more than insight; I wanted to give them the confidence to handle Scripture on their own.” Jen shows whole books of the Good book and urges individuals to take in the Word completely. ” You never show up to a class as a student of any subject; instead, you simply listen and leave. You come prepared, you can work in groups, and the teaching builds on what you’ve done. I integrate these components into my examinations to support dynamic and energetic learning.”
Jen also encourages Christians to read the Bible in its original form. She makes the observation that the Bible is primarily a book about God rather than about us; it is requested deliberately to show us what god’s identity is.
