Jane Bunn is an Australian meteorologist and weather presenter. She is the weather presenter on Seven News Melbourne.
Bunn completed a Bachelor of Science at Monash University in 2005, where she had majors in Atmospheric Science and Mathematics. In 2006, Jane was selected to undertake a Graduate Diploma of Meteorology provided by the Bureau of Meteorology. After completing her degree she was posted to work as a weather forecaster in Sydney, then Canberra and finally at RAAF’s Williamtown base. She has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Journalism from Charles Sturt University.

Bunn moved to television in 2008, where he worked as a morning meteorologist for The Weather Channel. She was hired as a weather presenter on WIN News Victoria in June 2009, where she quickly gained a dedicated following, particularly among farmers who rely on her reports.
Bunn left WIN News Victoria after five years to concentrate on a new project, and was replaced by Britt Ditterich. She left WIN News to work as a weather presenter on ABC News Breakfast and ABC News Victoria. The Seven Network announced in November 2014 that Bunn would be joining the Seven News Melbourne team to replace Jo Silvagni. Jane started her new job in December.
Bunn has also been on Today and 3AW as a weather contributor, covering extreme weather events such as the Queensland floods and Victoria’s Black Saturday bushfires. Jane grew up in Melbourne’s bayside suburbs and went to Firbank Grammar School for high school. She is a fan of the Australian Football League’s St Kilda Football Club.
