13 Reasons Why
The Netflix TV adaptation of Jay Asher’s book 13 Reasons Why stars Jan Luis as Diego Torres. One of the key characters in Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why’s fourth season is Diego Torres. The actor Jan Luis Castellanos plays him. Diego was once Jessica Davis’s sweetheart, a football player for the Liberty Tigers, and a graduate of Liberty High School. He and Winston Williams are the primary antagonists in Season 4.
Diego makes his debut as a Liberty High football player in the fourth season. While he grieves for Monty, he is working hard to clear his name by identifying Bryce’s real killer. Simultaneously, he embarks on a brief romantic relationship with Jessica Davis, but ultimately abandons the inquiry because it will only make her grieve more following Justin’s passing.
After Bryce’s passing, Diego, the charming and devoted captain of a split football team, battles bereavement and uncertainty. He exhibits respect and decency despite his violent temper and distrust difficulties. Diego makes Jessica rethink her presumptions regarding Charlie’s sexual orientation, which piques their mutual curiosity. They hang around during the senior camping trip and dance at the Valentine’s Day dance. Diego declares that he does not despise homosexuals and applauds Charlie and Alex on winning Homecoming.
Diego repeatedly plays practical jokes on Clay Jensen, causing him to act inadvertently. Clay’s overreaction to the practical joke leads Diego to believe he is privy to Bryce’s death. As their exchange heats up, Diego pushes Clay into a chasm by labelling him a “prick” and “crazy.”
Diego is of Dominican descent; he has brown eyes, dark skin, and short black hair. Diego is a football player who is well-built and frequently seen sporting Liberty Tigers shirts, varsity jackets, and football jerseys with the number 32—Monty’s football number.
