Jackson Shirer Career / Transfer
Jackson was pursued by a number of Texas in-state programs, including Baylor and Texas, early in his high school career. Tulsa also recruited him heavily. Jackson’s recruitment was put on hold after he sustained a knee injury later in high school that required surgery. His family gathered and prayed as he started to question whether he would be given the chance to play football at his institution.
