Erin Whitehead works as a visual artist, actor, and writer. She is well-known for her roles in HBO’s Animals, Craig of the Creek, UCB Harold Night, and other shows. She also performs with the improv group Wild Horses. Alongside Seth Morris, she co-hosts the Comedy Bang Bang World podcast College Town.

Scrubs
Whitehead plays Nurse Papson, who works at Sacred Heart Hospital on Scrubs. J.D. became agitated and started shouting at Denise when she interrupted, informing him that Mr. Lawton had stomach cancer.
A few days later, she was furious with Carla for being overly friendly with Dr. Cox and Elliot, as well as Elliot for being impolite to Nurse Barbara. Elliot’s apology helped them to overcome their issues. When Dr. Cox was too preoccupied with his new role as Chief of Medicine to arrange a nurses schedule, she was one of the seventeen nurses who showed up.
