Alexander has been named co-anchor of the 5 and 10 p.m. newscasts on Fox New York O&O WNYW. Alexander will replace co-anchor Ernie Anastos on the newscasts, a position she has held on a temporary basis since September.
Alexander formerly co-anchored Fox 5 News at 6:00 p.m. She was an anchor and New York field reporter for Fox News Channel before joining WNYW, where she also offered frequent primetime news updates and was the weekend news anchor for Fox News Live.
Alexander went around the United States in 2002-03, creating and reporting long-format stories for The Pulse, a WNYW primetime news magazine. Alexander served as an anchor and reporter at various stations before joining FNC, including WFAA Dallas, WCMH Columbus, Ohio, WHBF Rock Island, Illinois, and WOAY Oak Hill, West Virginia.
