Antoni Porowski Biography
Antoni Porowski is a television personality, chef, actor, model, and author from Canada. He is the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’s food and wine expert (2018–present).
Porowski moved to New York City after graduating from Concordia University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology to study acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, where he graduated in 2011. He taught himself to cook by studying his grandmother’s recipes. He spent his high school years there and in Montreal before returning to Montreal to finish his post-secondary education at Marianopolis College.

Porowski describes his sexual orientation as “a little more fluid along the spectrum,” and he prefers not to label himself. He dated graphic artist Joey Krietemeyer for over seven years before splitting in October 2018. Porowski and his Queer Eye co-star Jonathan Van Ness created a joint Instagram account in 2019 and posted seemingly romantic photos. They later clarified that it was all in good fun. Porowski has been dating advertising executive Kevin Harrington since 2019.

Porowski signed a deal with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in April 2018 for his first cookbook, which will be released in Spring 2019. He announced in June 2018 that he would open The Village Den, a fast-casual restaurant in New York City’s West Village. Porowski also sells vintage furniture.
