Chris Anderson Biography

Chris Anderson is a British-American businessman and the founder of TED, a non-profit organization that gives idea-based speeches and holds an annual conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Prior to that, he formed Future Publishing.

He briefly attended Woodstock School in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India, before transferring to Monkton Combe School, a residential school in Bath, England. Anderson studied physics at Oxford before switching to philosophy, politics, and economics and graduating in 1978.
