Chris Anderson Biography
Chris Anderson is a British-American businessman and the founder of TED, a non-profit organization that gives idea-based speeches and holds an annual conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Prior to that, he formed Future Publishing.
He briefly attended Woodstock School in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India, before transferring to Monkton Combe School, a residential school in Bath, England. Anderson studied physics at Oxford before switching to philosophy, politics, and economics and graduating in 1978.

Chris Anderson TED
In 2001, the establishment gained the TED Gathering, then a yearly gathering of lights in the areas of innovation, amusement and configuration, held in Monterey, California. Anderson quit Future to devote all of his time to TED. He extended the gathering to cover all subjects, including science, culture, the scholarly world, and business and key worldwide issues. He added a fellows program, of which there are now approximately 400 alumni. Chris Anderson Tattoos
Brightly colored tattoos on his arms, chest, neck, back, hands, and legs make Andersen famous. John Slaughter, a Denver-based tattoo artist, claims that Andersen has colored tattoos on 65 percent of his body. On the inside of his forearms, Andersen had Chinese symbols inked on them. The one on the left indicates “Good,” while the one on the right indicates “Evil.”
On the inside of each arm, Andersen sports vivid phoenix wings. Because it depicts the period of time he was serving his drug suspension, this body ink has a significant significance for him. While getting his wing tattoos on both of his inner biceps, Andersen once admitted to crying “like a little girl.” He has inked a couple of red dice to his left side arm. “Impasse” is inked in striking dark in the middle of between the phoenix wings and the red dices. Andersen has a bright yellow tattoo across his neck that reads “FREE BIRD” with colored flames. Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird” is a favorite of his. This melody has an association with him as he used to pay attention to it consistently during his medication suspension.
