These days, Cameron spends thirty weeks out of the year traveling to shoot family-friendly and faith-based projects. Just in the previous ten years, he has made appearances in at least 35 movies.
Among his most recent endeavors are the crime series Vindication, Angels Unaware, Making Him Famous, Saved By Grace (a SkipStone Pictures / PureFlix original series), and Running the Bases (which won the 2023 Faith and Freedom Award from Movieguide).For his performance as Sam Parker in Running the Bases, Cameron has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the International Christian Film and Music Festival. Sam Sr. in Mattie: The Discovery, Solomon Grant in Karen Abercrombie’s Discarded Things, Bill in The Challenger Disaster, Logan Evans in Champion, and Thomas Hill in Overcomer, the Kendrick Brothers’ #1 family film for 2019—all made appearances in the film.
Mattie: Cameron made his directing debut with The Discovery. Since then, he has directed the post-production films They’re Coming, Ordinary Games, and It’s How I See It.In addition to being nominated for the same honor in 2021, Cameron received the 2020 ICFF Actor of the Year award. In addition to numerous other honors for acting and directing throughout the years, he won Best Supporting Actor for Discarded Things at the Canadian International Faith and Family Film Festival in 2021.
