Alexandra Giamo is an American sports writer and the host of the Netflix Top 10 series King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch. While traveling with the New York Jets, she served as the host of the Jetlife TV show on CBS New York. With more than 120,000 followers on her alexgiaimo Instagram account, she shares vlog-style films along with sports, collecting, and antique items.

Speaking about her parentss, she said that her mother is a legit badass and taught her the most important thing in the world, to be confident and not afraid to be herself. She has not spoken of her fathers whereabout and her siblings.

She is not married. She has a dog, Mela, the French Bulldog, which she sais is her best friend. She says that she together with her dog ultimate cuddle buddies. They love going for long walks along the Hudson River. There’s nothing better than going home to Mela, a nice glass of wine, or a piece of cold eggplant parmigiana.

Work
She established a successful career for herself as a sports writer by interviewing some of the top NFL players before and after games. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Alex was unable to find work and eventually became involved in the antique dealing business, selling vintage baseball cards and Beanie Babies on eBay.
Alex recently took on a new role as the host and narrator of a new Netflix miniseries King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch, replacing stadiums for streaming services. Even though Alex is back in the sports reporting game (she currently works as a journalist for MLB Network), her ingenuity and tenacity come through in every assignment.
During the 2016 season, Giamo had unrestricted access to the New York Jets’ players and coaches behind closed doors. She went on team trips, did pre- and post-game interviews in the locker room and on the field, and presented the personality- and entertainment-driven TV program “JetLife” on CBS New York. She is also a straight shot with a propensity for making everyone around her laugh, even if she loves to chat about sports.
