Roma debuted in the television series “Ivy’s True Colors”. On her island, he was the only friend Ivy had. She looked after him after taking him in.
Ivy is initially seen looking at her butterflies when he first comes with her. Sofia is harsh to Princess Ivy, but Roma assured her that she is not all that horrible. Ivy and Sofia came to an understanding and decided to support one another. They discovered the butterflies by strolling to the opposite side of the island after assisting Gruff the bear. But as it happened, they were assisting Miss Nettle in creating a remedy for the profound sleeps. Ivy declined their request to burrow her butterflies. After guiding them to the butterfly chamber, Roma let them go.
