Shelley played Amber Starr in eight episodes of the WB drama Summerland during its first and second seasons. She is Nikki’s buddy and Cameron’s ex-girlfriend. Amber and Nikki clashed at first, but they soon became great friends.

Shelley was a skilled figure skater who enjoyed performing and competing on the ice. Shelley’s interests shifted toward performing. She was convinced that she was meant for the big screen.
Shelley began modeling and acting in local plays and commercials. Disney casting director Joey Paul Jenson discovered her and told her she needed to be in Los Angeles. Shelley landed the Fox Pilot “The Untitled Ricky Blitt Project” during her first pilot season in Los Angeles at the age of 12. She collaborated with Emmy-nominated Director Brian Gordon. Sadly, the pilot was not picked up. She had, however, caught the bug at that point. Shelley continued to act while attending school in Dallas and Los Angeles.
She has appeared as a guest star on Still Standing, Method and Red, and That’s So Raven. She also continues to work in commercials and as a model. Miss Dallas Texas American Pre-teen was bestowed to her.
Shelley, at the age of 15, has finally found her stride this year. She has a recurring role as Amber Star on the WB’s new blockbuster drama Summerland, as well as a recurring role on the new Nickalodeon series Head to Toe, which will premiere next fall. Shelley is not only attractive and brilliant, but she also has the kind of drive and ambition that is uncommon in actors her age.
